I’m building CIYA into the development house companies trust with their most important products.

The standard is simple: we should be better than the company’s own in-house team. Not just faster at writing code better at figuring out what matters, making decisions, and getting working products into people’s hands.

I built GenPPT to 50,000 users before exiting. Since then, I’ve worked directly with founders and teams in software and the creator economy, building products behind the scenes. Some of that work stays private.

Now I’m putting together a small team of genuine killers. People I can hand an entire project to and trust to move it forward.

Who I’m looking for

You’ve built and shipped real software. Ideally, you’ve founded something yourself or been the person responsible for getting a product off the ground.

You don’t need every decision made for you. You can take an unclear goal, investigate the problem, propose a direction, and execute. You know when to act independently and when a decision needs a conversation.

You care whether the product actually works not whether your assigned tickets are closed.

What you’ll own

- Taking projects from initial scope through to deployment and real-world use.

- Architecture, full-stack development, integrations, testing, and reliability.

- AI features where they genuinely improve the product, with sensible latency and running costs.

- Finding problems and opportunities before someone points them out.

- Keeping the people involved informed without needing to be chased.

The bar

Strong product judgment. Technical depth. Follow-through.

Using AI to build is expected. Being able to understand, debug, and stand behind what it produces is non-negotiable.

Ex-founder experience is a strong plus. So is owning delivery for demanding clients or shipping products in a small team. A particular title, degree, or polished CV isn’t the deciding factor. Your work is.

This isn’t about performative long hours. It’s about being the person who takes responsibility and gets the thing done. Making mistakes is okay, it's great actually & I want you to learn from those mistakes!
